A 24- month service commitment is required for all lease options. Early termination and unreturned equipment fees apply as follows:

If you cancel within 30 days of activation, no service termination fees will be charged. You must return your HughesNet modem, power supply and radio within 45 days from the time of termination or be charged a $300 Unreturned Equipment Fee. Your $99 Upfront Fee and other installation charges and fees will not be refunded.

If you cancel after 30 days of activation but before the end of your 24-month term commitment, you will be charged a $400 Service Termination Fee. You must return your HughesNet equipment within 45 days from the time of termination or be charged a $300 Unreturned Equipment Fee.

If you cancel after the end of your 24-month term commitment, you will not be charged. You must still return your HughesNet equipment within 45 days from the time of termination or be charged a $300 Unreturned Equipment Fee.

All HughesNet service plans require a 24-month service commitment.
